Murgh Tikka Nawabi

Murgh Tikka Nawabi is a luxurious and rich chicken dish, often associated with Mughlai cuisine, known for its aromatic spices, tender chicken, and creamy texture. In this recipe, the chicken is marinated in a rich yogurt-based marinade, cooked in a handi (a traditional clay pot), and then garnished with a creamy sauce.

• Prepare the marinade : In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, chopped green chilies, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, mustard oil, fresh cream, ground almonds or cashew nuts, saffron (with its milk), and kasuri methi (if using).
