Lucknowi Gosht Biryani is a regal dish from the heart of Awadhi cuisine. This biryani features tender, marinated mutton cooked to perfection with aromatic basmati rice in a traditional dum style, creating a harmonious blend of flavors and textures.

• Add 1 cup of water, cover, and cook on low heat until the mutton is tender (use a pressure cooker for faster cooking if desired). Ensure there is a little gravy left for layering.
• Sprinkle fried onions, saffron milk, chopped mint, coriander leaves, and a drizzle of ghee. Repeat layers if necessary.
