Dal E Hindustani is a rich and flavorful lentil dish inspired by traditional Indian cooking. It's a perfect balance of comfort and spice, made with yellow lentils (usually toor dal or moong dal) cooked with a mix of Indian spices, then tempered with ghee and aromatic spices.

• Add tomatoes and spices : Add chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook the tomatoes until they turn soft and oil starts separating from the masala.
• Mix dal with gravy : Once the tomato-onion mixture is cooked, add the mashed dal to the pan. Stir everything together.
